My Child Matters Scholarships
SANOFI ESPOIR FOUNDATION SUPPORT TO PARTICIPANTS FROM LIC/LMICS
With the generous support from the Sanofi Espoir Foundation, SIOP has been able to provide 100 participants from Low Income Countries and Lower-Middle Income Countries with free registration to the 2021 Congress and free SIOP membership.
Schweisguth Prize
This prize is awarded to the author of the best scientific article by a trainee in the field of paediatric oncology. The prize is given in honour of Dr. O. Schweisguth, founding member and first President of SIOP.
Congratulations to Dr. Anirban Das, The Hospital for Sick Children, Canada for winning the SIOP 2021 Schweisguth Prize.
The Schweisguth Prize Award lecture is scheduled for SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2021 – DAY 2, 16:50-17:20 (EST)
Lifetime Achievement Award
The Lifetime Achievement Award is bestowed upon any present or past member of the Society for his/her substantial contributions to paediatric oncology.
This year’s recipient will be announced during the opening ceremony scheduled for FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2021- DAY 1, 09:30-10:00
Nursing Leadership Award (Former Nursing Lifetime Achievement Award)
The Nursing Leadership Award is bestowed upon any present or past member of the society for his/her substantial contributions to paediatric oncology nursing.
This year’s recipient will be announced during the opening ceremony scheduled for FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2021- DAY 1, 09:30-10:00 & at the Nursing Opening Ceremony, scheduled for FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2021- DAY 1, 10:15-11:45
SIOP Awards
The Scientific Committee selects the six highest scoring abstracts in the fields of basic and translational science, clinical trials and developing paediatric oncology programmes to be presented in the SIOP Awards Session during our Annual Meeting.
